I go here to shop for ingredients to make hot pot. They have everything you need to make hot pot. Prices are reasonable, and there's plenty of parking in the back.

Hello Beautiful Soulz I went here to purchase a replacement bat for my motar, I grabbed a large bowl and was advised I was not able to purchase separate. So I thought I'd purchase a smaller bowl set to add to my collection and was advised it was the same price. I dislike going to places that have missing prices. I feel they can be selective with whom they charge what. I cook many different Cultural dishes, and I like purchasing the items and seasoning to make it close to authentic as possible. I am not sure if it because of my race when I frequent certain stores, I have not felt welcomed. One in particular I was literally followed, down every single isle, the lady followed me...yes in 2025. I am very well presenting and not walking around with a huge empty purse. I am however very slow and enjoy my shopping experience so that may have given the wrong message. Also most of the items are not in English so that's a huge barrier. I enjoy the quality and freshness of fruits and veggies they offer. Most importantly most of those items are purchased locally from small growers in our local communities so that helps alot. At this location I needed spicy basil for lemingrass tofu dish I make its a healthier and vegetarian version of lemongrass chicken and thought I grabbed it, the checker said no. So I ran back and again no labels I asked for help from three workers and they were not able to speak English but didn't feel the need to make sure I was able to get help or get what I was looking for and just walked away. So I decided to purchase what I did (spent $60) grabbed my items ( I grabbed some yummy asian snacks for a video), thanked the checker and left. Note to businesses in communities that have a melting pot of customers, take care of you customers...all your customers even when you are specific in culture a true chef such as myself (lol) loves to shop everywhere because I love to cook. Feeling welcome where we spend money feels great, so support everyone who comes to your store, you just never know. Ok luv you byeeeee!

Vinh Phat Supermarket is one of the Sacramento area's oldest Vietnamese / Chinese supermarkets. I think most Asians have shopped here for groceries before. The market is big and carries many Asian goods which are hard to get in regular grocery stores. The employees are helpful and nice. The store has check-out counters at both sides of the entrances. The price of the groceries is usually more affordable than in other Asian grocery stores.

They were a Vietnamese supermarket and they also had seafood. Bathrooms are small with the sink and hand dryer outside and didn't smell good. Lots of seafood.
